I'm very touched by Angela's take on all this. Not only has she responded to unspeakable tragedy by selflessly giving to others, but when her generosity is abused, she chose to forgive. Of course, Carlee should face consequences, but I think the real story here is that Angela's type of kindness and goodness still exists in this world. The news is so full of horrors that it's truly amazing to see how one person, who more than any other has earned the right to focus on the negative, is truly a light shining in the dark.

In Aniah's case, everyone needs to be reminded of this: If you see something, say something. It could save someone's life.
  • @amyc9155
OK but how do you see somebody being forced into a car against their will and not call 911??
  • @Katinahat293
This wasn’t mental health issues this was entitlement and a big ego

I don't get it...Carlee had money; she could've simply gave herself a vacation if she wanted a break from her job and self-heal from the heartbreak of being cheated on. She didn't have to do this!
  • @Macho_Fantastico
Thank you for highlighting legitimate missing people, whose families are desperate for the time and resources Carlee's evil stunt received. I hope Angela doesn't stop her good work, we need more people like her.

Listening to Angela speak was heartbreaking. I can’t imagine why someone would witness a young lady being abducted and wouldn’t report it to the police.

We cannot keep blaming this on mental issues yall! She was aware of what she was doing. We know what she was searching on google. She’s not insane, she just wanted attention. Edit: y’all was referring to the people who are blaming what she did on mental health issues. See below comments!

Angela had to relive her daughter's disappearance all over again. Hearing her say she was so glad Carlee was found alive because she thought she wasn't really says a lot about how much it affected her. I can't imagine the slew of emotions going through her mind when the search was going on.

A lot of people in the comments seem convinced that Carlee must have had mental health issues and that's a trend I've noticed is becoming more common in the comments of a lot of videos. Honestly, I don't think there's any evidence of mental health issues in this case. There's lots of evidence of an entitled, narcissist who behaved appallingly though. One of the side effects of the social media age is that people like Carlee, despite having no discernible talent, feel like they deserve to be famous and, as this festers inside them, they actually become resentful of having to do things like work a regular job. The irony is she actually seems to have been quite pampered considering she was on her second Mercedes Benz at the age of 25 and we know at least one of those cars was a gift!

She's not insane. She premeditated everything.
  • @jpmackey1607
Regarding the three missing-persons cases you talked about, how can police tell families to wait a while before reporting their loved ones missing when they’re the same people who criticize people who wait to file a report? 🤦🏾‍♂️
  • The person who saw her forced into a car and did nothing is a person I would not want to know. Disgusting not to get plate number and call asap.
  • @DAriel1023
Thank you so much for using your platform to give the 3 young black women and their families a voice.
  • @dietdrpepper15
👏🏻 thank you for covering ACTUAL missing black women who wouldn’t get the attention they need and deserve!
  • @Always_Thinking
A mistake is wearing the wrong type of outfit to a specific event this was intentional. She should have to reimburse all agencies for the resources expended on the search for her idiotic intentional stunt!
  • I think Carlee's personality before this kidnapping thing says it all. There's no mental health issues here. She is very self centered, thinks she's the queen of the world, and she wanted to get back at people she felt wronged her, make them hurt and miss her and realize what they were missing out on by wronging her. That's the mentality a child has. No different than when you send your 7 year old to their room and then they get the bright idea to run away and hide in the treehouse in the backyard, to make you worry and miss them and realize that sending them to their room was a horrible thing to do.
  • @debbiea9262
Carlee Russell has no mental issues. She’s just a selfish entitled brat. Just the fact that this mother (who lost her daughter) was out there helping, should be enough for Carlee to get jail time. She wasted so much resources on a lie.
  • @NUFAN1313
Angela must have been absolutely sick over the parallels between both their daughter's cases. I feel so bad for her and I admire her for immediately digging in and doing everything she could to help Carlee and her family. Shame on Carlee for letting anyone believe for even a moment that she was in danger.
  • She had a degree in psychology. She doesn't have mental issues, she planned all this down to the smallest detail for attention; she's a narcissist.
