Turn the iron on and tighten the tip. Smooth ceramic will not sharpen anything.

This explains the term "full circle". From a perfectly able soldering iron to waddaya know a working soldering iron, by simply changing the tip.

For the soldering iron, I recommend to you, to use flux, there should be no problem of cold soldering with it.

افكار مفيده) احتاج الى عمل محول كهرباء صقير لتحويل لمبه منزلية إلى ١٢ فولت ليعمل مع بطارية السيارة ) أعجبتني أفكارك

I guess I don't see the point of spending that much effort to remove the center electrode to hack a soldering tip when you can make one with something like copper wires.

Si se necesita mas temperatura hay 2 caminos: 1: introducir a tope la punta original/o normal. 2: utilizar un soldador mas potente. La seguridad y confiabilidad ante todo(durabilidad de herramientas y materiales)😉

Buy a TS101 Soldering Pen with adjustable soldering temp. Heats to useful temp in about 10 seconds.
