I am so grateful to be have been born an American and had the great privilege to become a New Zealander. Young women like Jacinda Arden grow up knowing they can become Prime Minister.

Jacinda is such a beauty of a person, and what we all want in a leader. A real human being who cares about those around her, and for the people and country she leads.

Ha Ha I knew this would be worth a few laughs. The dead giveaway Kiwi accent where every vowel is turned on its head, terms like "chilly bin" (Kiwi) and "Eskie" (Oz) and trying to explain why you talk so funny. I moved to NZ from the US and became a Kiwi citizen in the early 90s and went through the whole thing in reverse, trying to figure out how to speak "Kiwi". It's a hard accent to mimic, harder than Australian, but then NZ is this little microcosm bubble unto itself at the bottom of the Pacific, so it's refreshing to see the PM on a major USA talk show. She comes off as so down to Earth. Sweet-as cousie-bro!
