When is was 12 years old, i used to watch this program all the time, by myself. I loved it. I'm 66 years old now. That beautiful melody from the show's opening kept with me all these years and I could not remember the name of the theme of the show. I would then play that song on my fiddle 54 years later but didn't know it's name correctly. I thought it's name was Nahanee. Thank goodness that we have the internet to search with. This show is just so so beautiful. It's music and stories. Thank so much for putting it up here.

Does anybody know the musician or name of the theme music? It's very gentle and soothing and reminds me of growing up in Canada.
