What a beautiful, unique voice, Dolores had. A beautiful melancholy, absolutely gorgeous Irish woman, who led a great band. Those of us...who grew up with The Cranberries...lived in an era...that can never be duplicated. We were lucky.

I'm 42. I can't express how much this music meant to me...soundtrack of my life, for a good portion of it. I will forever enjoy singing along, in my car and trying to keep up. Such an inspirational woman...missed in Canada.

Dolores said her first kiss was Linger and I think my first love is The Cranberries! Angel, you touched my heart with your music and your unique voice. We will always remember you and celebrate your life with your music! May you rest in peace and God bless your soul!

Nice to see a bit of info about the guys in the band, seems like they had their heads screwed on right, Dolores was the voice we all loved but as a whole the band were very very special, a tight unit who gave us so much.

A music critic wrote ”Delores O’Riordan: the voice of a rebel.” Really? A rebel, you say? She had a beautiful voice that drove the Cranberries along the road to worldwide success, but I don't believe that Delores was rebellious. Unique, yes! Rebellious, no! Delores was proudly Irish🇮🇪and family-focused. Her untimely passing was tragic and a huge loss to Ireland & the global music industry. Her voice and the musical genius of the Cranberries will never fade away. One of the many Cranberries hit songs is playing somewhere in the world today, and every day, hereafter.🎼🗣I look forward to paying my respects during my next visit to Limerick 🇮🇪🙏RIP Delores❤️
  • Her first kiss inspired one of their best songs "Linger". This happened to be the first ever Cranberries song I ever heard back in January 1994, which quickly won me over with its beauty, sincerity and emotional vulnerability.
  • Nice documentary. Rest in peace Dolores O'Riordan. Gone too soon. A big loss for Irish music.

The first song I played with my new found distortion pedal was Zombie. Playing it clean in the beginning and then stomping on my pedal to change to distortion for the chorus for the first time was something I will never forget. I literally slit my wrist to Linger which is obviously horrible and I figured myself out, but it shows how close their music was to my life. The first time I cried reading a book was Terry Brook’s Sword of Shannara and War Cry was playing in the background. The Faithful Departed was the soundtrack to that book. I remember when I first started watching MTV and I hated most of the music on there, but Linger was hitting big and I remember being mesmerized by her voice and she was probably one of the first CD’s I bought for myself. It’s sad that her death date is a day away from my birthday, but it’s fitting because she was always a huge part of my life. I will never forget what her and the boys created and how they spoke so deeply to my soul and will continue till the day I die. RIP Delores. Gabh fois gu math, a ghràidh. Gus an coinnich sinn a-rithist: ’(

When Zombie came out, I was 21 and a refugee from the Yugoslavia wars. I got it. The song so powerful it transcends music and becomes something spiritual.

I loved/Love your music. My children introduced us. They also gave me the heart-wrenching news about Delores' passing. That day, my eldest son, (36 years old) showed me so many touching videos. But the one that made me cry was when she was supposed to perform with a band but, passed away unexpectedly. The video was made and makes me cry every time someone watches it in my home. Delores was as real and as genuine as anyone could be. May you rest in peace. Our prayers go out to the band that started it all. You are forever in our hearts. ❤❤

Aaaww Dolores, you left too soon. Ireland, and Limerick will miss your angelic voice. You will be missed.
  • I miss you. A beautiful voice is gone. But I feel proud that my 8 and 6 years old children sing your songs and search for the music videos on YouTube. You won't be forgotten

It's hard for me to express in words i am so happy i got to see the cranberries live. I love Dolores and still cry when I hear her voice. I don't think I've been the same after she died. Everything about her was beautiful.
