I love how some in the comments believe the ones connected with Joyboy are his sons and daughters. I'm pretty sure that the connection is just there to show that these could be decendants of Joyboy, not closely related like father and son/daughter. It wouldn't even makes sense if you think about that immense time gap between Joyboy's time 800 years ago and then Roger, Rouge, Garp etc. Edit: God this comment section makes me crazy

I have another theory about the pedigree of d. The D family orginated in two rival persons- JOYBOY and IM. Luffy and Roger both descendants of Joyboy while Blackbeard and Rocks were both descendants of IM. But IM is still alive... Yes, because he is immortal. And he is waiting for the return of his nemesis (joyboy) in the body of Luffy.

So basically Luffy and Ace 😔 is related by blood but the real question is does anyone in this family know the truth that they all relate I mean the D and monkey is kinda obvious if you ask me if I was one of them and I hear you full name that would will stop me in my tracks for sure 🤷 and it will be cute and heartwarming to see one of them internet with each other knowing they related to each other 😂 instead of just seeing Luffy and and his grandpa we get to see more other relatives interactions.
