He doesn't 'just' have plot armor, it's literally a part of his character. For me, that's still a positive and beautiful thing for One Piece, being able to make his sort of plot armor make sense in different kinds of way whether it is people in the story recognizing it too (Smoker, Mihawk) or by different powers (devil fruit, VoAT, conquerors haki, will of d). I can understand if people disagree but some pseudo fans wanna pretend that it wasn't showcased since pre grandline time when this part exists in the series.
