Steve shows much love and support for current singer Arnel Pineda on Barclay Center stage, NY on April 7, 2017. Rock Hall induction ceremony was broadcast on HBO on April 29, 2017. In the Performers category, Journey members are (in alphabetical order) Jonathan Cain, Aynsley Dunbar, Steve Perry, Gregg Rolie, Neal Schon, Steve Smith and Ross Valory.

Wow he complemented everyone but himself(even the new Singer). This guy has true class. One of the greatest Male voices EVER!

Wow. Neil Schon has been shitting on Perry for years, and yet Perry gives him sincere praise and thanks. And recognizing Arnel Pineda without a hint of jealousy? His speech put the entire focus on others. That is pure class, man.

Note to Axl Rose, who refused to take the stage with his band mates at their induction: This is how you show class and humility. Perry is a legend.

The part that made me tear up is his mention of Arnel. From EVERYTHING I have read, Arnel worships Steve Perry and has never had but good things to say about him. He had reverenced Steve Perry in every way. Perry that was classy and Arnel everyday is classy.

What a true rock legend steve perry is
  • Steve Perry made this band. A lot of talent combined, but his vocal range really put them on the map. History making music.

Despite all that’s happened and the continued conflict, Steve has remained a class act. Forever Journey forever faithful.

regardless of what ever personal feelings may really be going on behind the scenes, that was class. too many people leave a legacy of insulting and blaming.
