How can you become the Observer?

Being the observer: Finding Wisdom in the Act of Watching .
One of the gifts of haiku is the powers of observation. Japanese poets from centuries ago would often go for a Ginko Walk, which is being in nature and observing what they would see, hear, smell, touch and sometimes even taste. Then they would gather together, write haiku based on their experiences and share their haiku. Be inspired by the haiku this week.

  • I really appreciate this one. It is very beautiful! I love the idea of being the observer. As you were talking I was reminded of something Nisargadatta Maharaj said: 'Be passionately dispassionate.' 🙏💖🙏
