The first non-horse Bethesda land vehicle. Truly historic.

Having the option to turn OFF dialogue camera mode is a big plus for me. I hated that dated feeling 'zoom-in' style, so being able to have a more natural feeling dialogue with NPCs is something I was hoping they'd add at some point.

Tim Lamb looking like he's about to coach Florida in the Liberty Bowl...
  • @meareguard
Add small town, farms, manors, villas, etc around main cities, please
  • 60fps mode with a 40 option for VRR on Series X. FUCKIN FINALLY.
  • @TheSonnyJohn
Decorate the interior of starships, sign me up.
  • @HenryAB
I absolutely love when developers give you options to make your own difficulty instead of only having "easy, normal, hard". Freaking sweet.

The ability to chnage ladder placement while in decorator mode would be clutch. Even if it can't be done this update.
  • Holyshit those new maps look great. The Land Vehicle caught me off guard
  • @disenchanter
the way Tim said "we are working on land vehiclesss" like he was grinding his teeth xD

Adjusting the vendor credits, just what I've been hoping for, so I don't have to take 100 45-second sleep cycles to sell the 50 grendels I have after raiding a pirate base.

I've always had a problem with the way Bethesda does damage scaling in their difficulty settings, giving players the option to adjust it for themselves without mods is honestly pretty awesome
  • Personally, I'd love to be able to toggle a landing sequence for planets I've visited before. Just appearing outside my ship makes it feel more like "fast-travel simulator" than a space epic.
  • "Hi Tim, was there a particular hat that you wanted to wear - indoors - for this interview...?" Tim internally: [IT'S FINALLY TIME! LET'S F--KING GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!]
  • @theitechlab
Update is looking really good with some solid QOL changes.

I'm really looking forward to giving this game another shot. I appreciate your hard work at getting things where they need to be and I'll probably resume my Starfield videos soon!

Some things I would like to try for my next playthrough, -Increase carry capacity -Increase combat affliction effects -Increase all environmental affliction effects and damage -Increase food and medical healing -Turn on sustenance -Raise both player and enemy combat damage -Keep ship combat at default (because it's already tedious and I suck at it lol) -Increase vendor credits This will give the game a fast paced survival feel without making it too tedious. This will also give actual use to many items in the game. I feel having temporary limitations to your exploration through higher afflictions and damage helps to enrich the experience, where having free reign to go wherever right out the gate with little to no problems only cheapens it. I learned this from playing Elden Ring and Breath of the Wild. Now if you want to explore a hot planet, you better save up for a suit that can handle the heat. Also, having higher combat afflictions and enemy damage will detour you from running in guns blazing. But the higher player damage will help out if things go wrong. Bethesda only needs to add some enemy variety and more interesting things to explore. I guess mods will help too. I also hope they add the original fuel system back into the game as an option as well. Let us feel like we actually have to plan our expeditions. I'm honestly already starting to see the potential of what this game could become. :)
