What an age we live in. Never thought I’d be having spiritual advice like this from a monk in the comfort of my own home
  • @ThisIsTori_
My morning routine looks very similar to this already. Very grateful for that. I’m grateful I cherish myself enough to be patient and kind to myself, but also very disciplined for myself. That is the truest form of self love. I hope you all realize you are worth the work it takes to love yourself unconditionally.
  • Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world 💕

Growing up in Thailand I used to meditate and pray everyday—morning and night—with my grandma until I moved to America 15 years ago. The American way of life got the best of me; I feel that I've lost touch with who I truly am. Finding this video randomly on my feed was no accident. Thank you so much ka for sharing your knowledge. I'm grateful to have found your video & channel. 🙏
  • So thankful I'm alive. I wish peace to everybody who reads this.
  • @Wow_Life_
This was beautiful as a 14 year old looking to improve my life in every way including meditation and healthy habits this video was touching and eye opening
  • I admire monks so much. Being an American, life is exhausting, there’s so much pressure on society to go go go. With anxiety and depression, my mind races uncontrollably, and I want it to change. I appreciate your mindset so much. I will start my morning routines differently from now on.

I clicked on this video hoping to learn how to make myself as productive as possible. Instead, im walking away with an entirely new perspective on what it means to prepare for the day. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos!
  • Very very iimportant part: ''too often when people talk about morning routines, it comes from a place of productivity' and this is exactly (I believe) where we all get lost, in wanting to DO more and more and more and more. I see it as the manifestation of profit thinking and the capitalist system. This idea of slowing down, allows for so much wisdom and personal power and choice to open up. Thank you for this video I enjoyed it so much and take this to heart!
  • The whole culture around monks in buddism is so beautiful, wish we had something like this here in Scandinavia. Keep being bright lights in this world 🙏
  • If you don't make the time to be Healthy, you will make the time to be Sick. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom, Ven. Nick 🙏
  • 1. Get up early (4am), rest, center, think about death and the possibility of doing today. 2. Make your bed, as a training 3. Chant, meditate (grounding process) 4. Do an act of generosity: Monks collect food and give others the opportunity to give. You can make breakfast for your children or for your partner. 5. Doing chores: Connects hands to earth --> mindfulness 6. Day before: light dinner or fasting (monks eat breakfast & lunch) better sleep Purpose: still the mind/get us out of our heads and access the inner well/wisdom I watched this at 1,75x :) not very mindful of me, I know.
  • Things that stood out the most for me - 1. Waking up and just laying on bed doing nothing just being still and present. 2. Doing chores, mainly cleaning your room and surroundings, to get in touch with the earth and focusing on cleanliness and again being present 3. Not having heavy dinner, cuz body is using energy to digest the heavy food meanwhile we're trying to sleep. 4. Giving food, the idea behind it not being greedy makes this practice more wonderful. Thank you for sharing this knowledge
  • The western world could learn so much from Buddhism ways , and it’s actually saved my mental health so many times since I was in my 20s. A philosophy for life that can be included with Amy faith or lifestyle. No finger wagging just ways to make you a better person each day .
  • As a Jedi Sentinel Watchmen, you're one of my advisors and Masters. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Live long and prosper my allie🖖.
  • @TeeMac68
"Today is not guaranteed". That hit me in the gut. I cried. So hard. I heard the message in my soul. This path I'm on is challenging but it teaches well when you are ready. Namaste fellow travellers 🙏
  • @pinayJayX
This is why i love the internet, it allows the wise to share. Love the saying „the little things allow the big things to happen“ Thank you 🙏🏼
  • I am now 76 and have been doing the five morning routines for some time. I’ve never heard these precepts from another person…it has simply happened as I grew older…..very happy to have discovered you this evening.
