Still one of my favorite fights they were both monsters at this point just beating the hell out of each other! Also 26:22 is bad ass how Goku just stands there and tanks that blast from Vegeta and they just both laugh afterwards 😂

Maturing is realizing just how good of a friend Goku was. He knew Vegeta needed this fight more than anything. He not only put the world at risk so Vegeta could get his get back, but he actively held back to make Vegeta believe they were on the same level.

Vegeta's commentary really makes you root from him even though you know he's wrong. That "I wont let you win this time" during the beam struggle was top tier.

This fight is so much more for Vegeta, he was going through a good/evil mid life saiyan crisis. He needed to fight Goku to figure himself out, which in turn led to him sacrificing himself and being truly good.
