Summary:
When a single bite can make even the healthiest person turn 'Crooked,' and as chaos and greed make the living turn on one another, Avery, a headstrong optimist and experienced young soldier, faces the daunting task of maintaining hope and building a better future for those around her. She finds herself leading a group of survivors through the zombie apocalypse, fighting to keep her friends together in a world that's falling apart.
