Merry Christmas ya filthy animals. If you want to learn the design fundamentals it takes to make something like the Glitter Bomb, enroll in my Creative Engineering course at Monthly.com/MarkRober and I'll see you in class!

I started a company called CrunchLabs where we build a toy together and then I teach you all the juicy physics for how it works. So if you want to learn to think like an engineer and have really fun time doing it, check out the current promotion where you get 2 FREE boxes at crunchlabs.com

You should also go subscribe to the CrunchLabs YouTube channel cause we’ve got some bangers in the pipeline- youtube.com/crunchlabs

Thanks to these folks for providing some of the music in the video:

Why are some faces blurred but not others?
I default to blurring all faces (assuming it’s clear enough you can tell who they are) unless we have permission to not blur.

More about my Creative Engineering class: This class is a hands-on, 30-day learning experience that will teach you how to use engineering and science to bring your creative ideas to life. During this class, I'm going to share with you my entire creative engineering process from start to finish. You're going to follow along with me as I fully design and engineer 3 brand new builds from scratch... from how I come up the idea, all the way through bringing the final builds to life. The best part is, over the month, you'll follow along with me and my process, side by side, and you will leave the class with 3 original, creative builds of your own. This is the class I wish I had when I was starting out. It's designed to take your skills to make cool stuff to the next level, whether you're a beginner or a more experienced maker/engineer. The class officially starts in early Jan, and it will only run a few times per year, so claim your spot if you're interested! See you in class! Love, Mark

“trust me you don’t wanna meet 5.0” is the most ominous conclusion to this video. what’s next? mustard gas?
  • @megaqualium1169
Imagine being a normal person walking down the street at sunset and you just see a plant consume a package
  • @DiabPink
That plant box that hides packages is a more effective prevention from porch pirates. 😂
  • What I'm noticing is the vast majority of thieves appear to be working-class people with decent/nice homes, cars, pets, etc. They already have what some people dream of and still take from others. It's sad however these videos are gold and I'm glad I stumbled across your page.
  • @das_mo
The AUDACITY of the people getting upset that the STOLEN package was a prank is mind-boggling to me
  • @denied7616
just imagine if it sprayed liquid adhesive first, for the ultimate glitter glue decorations
  • @Hondo1331
дружище спасибо за превосходный перевод, низкий поклон тебе и безмерная благодарность 🙏🤝
  • @josoverthehill
The fact that people keep losing their packages to thieves shows the sad reality that this is not enough of a deterrent, but if you were to design something that could actually hurt someone.... you'd probably be the one in trouble, no matter how much the thief deserved it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the mini boxing gloves, though!
  • @cadet8376
Mark: I didn't want to overengineer it Also Mark: Makes a moving planter that hides the box at night
  • @manowertman7048
    Mark: I don’t over-engineer Mark 3 seconds later: So I built a moving plant.
  • Thank you for the audio track translation. And those who put subtitles, too! And Mark Rober, you worked hard! I'm so impressive!! Seriously!! THX for all your done
  • @LasagnaAmore
Not sure why, but the part where the guy tests glitter quality got be CRYING laughing
  • @ElBombastico883
I can't believe the pawnbroker was gonna give that guy $400 without even looking opening the box first. Hard to decide which one of them is dumber.
  • @Jme_eighty3
Upgrade for next year-- glow in the dark glitter. That way every night they can see their mistakes because they will never really clean up all of it.
  • @RaiderDisco
You have excellent showmanship, my friend. The "commercial" had me in stitches! Well done!
  • @LadyLucychu
Dear Mr. Rober, this channel is one of the first channels I ever watched videos on, and I absolutely love all of your crazy ideas for content. The first video I watched was the one about escape rooms and things snowballed from there( pun intended.) Your videos have inspired me to pursue science, and I just wanted to say thanks, Mark. I hope you keep making insanely cool videos. Godspeed.
  • @ThisOffendsMeTV
Use dye packs. Don’t feel bad for thief’s, stain their carpets and clothes instead. That will do a lot more than glitter. Give em something to think twice about.
  • @randomdog5769
you should make it say "I'm a package thief" on repeat very loudly. Just imagine how funny it'd be if they opened the package in public.
