Aux Petites Ruches , petitesruches.fr/. Alain Richard, precursor of corded wood in France (first in his eco-place ''Le Biolopin'' in the Jura in 1986) tells us about his passion for this ecological construction technique of walls made of wood logs assembled by a mortar of lime, sawdust and sand.
Aesthetics, creativity, beauty, ease of assembly, self-construction and user-friendliness characterise the corded wood wall within the reach of everyone, an ideal technique for the construction of huts, hen houses, insect walls, screens, etc.
The composition of the mortar is 3 lime, 4 sawdust, 5 sand.
We have written a book published by Ulmer, "Bois cordé créatif". Publication July 2023
