Thank you The wood was dried 2 years and the mortar bead is solid throughout each wall. There are two walls separated by a four inch gap. The only treatment has been borax before the walls were constructed.

Absolutely gorgeous. Im curious. How long was the cord wood drying for before you built with it? Does the mortar span the entire depth of the wall, or did you put saw dust or something similar in between 2 lines of mortar like ive seen others doing? And lastly, what did you end up using to treat the wood once you were finished? Yours turned out better than any others ive seen. Amazing work.

Hi thanks for the video, and for sharing your exp. May I ask which is the difference between living in a rural property like this you show us, and an european "ghost" rural town, with affordable/cheap housing prices? Don't they share the same "isolation" from society?
