Meav and Orla's lovely mezzo-soprano voices blend with the superb orchestration for a moving and memorable listening experience. Happy Birthday, Jesus.

My favorite version of this song by two world-class vocalists. And two of the best vocalists ever to sing as Celtic Woman.

I've not heard the heavenly choir yet but these ladies have the voices of angels. Any song they sing sounds like it came from above. Beautiful ladies, beautiful dresses, beautiful voices everyone of them

a small touch of Heavenly entertainment here on earth. :)
  • My favorite Christmas song. Something about the innocence of children and animals sensing the life of Christ that makes me feel joy.

  • I just discovered this a few weeks ago. This has always been my favorite Christmas song. I got to sing it with my youth group many years ago. My best memory of this song was performing it at The Magic Kingdom in the cast choir during the candlelight service (back in the days before I lost my singing voice). Since I was a soprano and one of the four shortest, I got to stand at the top of the tree (risers) which made me the closest to the guest speaker which happened to be James Earl Jones. You can't beat having him do the narration of the nativity before and after singing this song. This version, with Orla and Maeve is now my favorite version. Celtic Women is my favorite singing group.

This is a beautiful rendition of a wonderful song. We should also remember that we celebrate the birth at Christmas of Emmanuel, God with us. At Easter we come to the reason for this birth. God died for us, that we might be reconciled to Him. Without the death and resurrection, the birth is just a birth.
