Ron's Gone Wrong is a pretty fun family film about a robot best friend that starts malfunctioning. But even pretty fun films have sins!

The fact that it’s NOT called “Everything Gone Wrong with Ron’s Gone Wrong” is a sin within itself. I blame Ian. Goddamnit Ian.

The founder not programming his friend bots to laugh should be a sin. Friends who can’t laugh at anything are the worst friends.
  • @SgtSupaman
The ending definitely ticked off the programmer side of my brain to no end. He is literally copying his code to every other bot in the world and yet can't copy his code to himself? Shoot, he could've even copied his code to a new, undamaged body. There is absolutely no reason for this "sacrifice" nonsense.

Actually, as an asthmatic, if a kid is having a mild attack and they have their inhaler they then need to sit down and chill while they take it and wait for their airways to open up again, unless it’s super serious (which considering he’s walking and talking clearly to her, that wasn’t the case) sitting down is the best thing you can do alongside taking your inhaler, which he clearly has in his hand. That teacher was right, lol, though someone should’ve stayed with him in case he started to die or something.

The use of “Titanic” as a verb to describe hitting a propeller blade is such a sudden movie reference and also so funny when you get reference is just masterful.

I really liked the movie, up until the end. My biggest issue was more that it went from “you have to know everything about me, so you can be my friend“ to the exact opposite, where the kids weren’t in control of what they wanted to do. And that really bothered me. Also it was the same exact ending, only not as good, as big hero six.
  • when the company tried to crush Ron, I knew I was supposed to be like "no no, they can't do that, he's Barney's friend, don't let them take him away". but instead I was like "Barney literally just had to stop Ron from MURDERING his classmate. I'm not seeing the issue with destroying the dangerous robot". guess I'm heartless.

5:42 are we not going to sin the fact that this woman has a button for that EXACT sentence.

17:49. This part actually made me angry. Even at the ending, he could have just downloaded a copy of the code from the internet onto a different robot. Especially considering the fact that this part and the ending make sense for the movie shows just how bad it is. It's got more forced tension than the 2021 Abu Dhabi GP.

It’s funny how the “solution” in the end is to pretty much break every single B bot and sell that as a functioning product😂 I’m guessing there going to go into the video game industry, selling broken products and charging full price for it

I found the movie really enjoyable. Not necessarily logic, but honestly funny. I laughed a lot watching it.

"not a single person has existed liking both vegetables and chocolate" damn, i guess i don't exist

12:18 i love how they didnt even bother to animate her shouting at the child, but shouting above the child. animators arent paid enough istg

10:12 2 is the only prime number that is even. The reason is that a prime number is only divisible by 1 and itself. All even numbers can be divided by 2, making them not prime. However, this does not apply to 2 because dividing it by 2 is the same as dividing it by itself. Other than this one, very specific exception, "Prime numbers can't be even" is a good rule for mathematics.
  • The way the movie ends with all of the bots in the world having Ron's code incorporated. it's supposed to be a happy ending because the bots ar enow improved and capable of genuine friendship. but in reality, a lot of people would be really pissed off that he did that
  • @obinnaonyeije
Sorry, I got confused and watched Next Gen instead. Can I still get half credit?
  • I'm surprised that you didn't include as a sin the fact that posters and stands included a different group of "not-not-friends" which changed two of them with characters that didn't appear in the movie at all.
  • @xmelonx6127
This movie 100% reminded me of Mitchell’s VS The machines. The robots, the money loving CEO, the main ceo literally being named ‘Marc’

Sitting down can help with an asthma attack, as it decreases the amount of oxygen necessary and can relax muscles, which helps to open the airways. It obviously doesn't immediately stop them, but it can be helpful as an addition to albuterol, or if you don't have any on hand
