Had problems getting my .MOV files (which my Action Cam generates) into my Sony Vegas Pro editing software. Took me some time but i figured it out and want to share it with you..

Good luck, hope it helps!

Thank you very much! I find the early 2000's memes kind of refreshing, getting to see how far we have strayed from god's light over the years.
  • Thank you so much, this saved my project. Just got down recording a bunch of stuff after already importing mov files the day before. However today it crapped out on me. Thanks for saving me tons of time from having to re-record everything.

Hi there. First, I´ve had issues and the process didn´t work. Still the same error line on Vegas workspace. Later I tried to uninstall remaining Apple QuickTime parts from previous installations and removed them all. Then, applied the installation on "cleaned place" and then it started to work. Thank you.

It worked! Now I don't have to wait for hours to convert my MOV Iphone files into MP4. Thank you very much!
  • If it’s just the mov files that aren’t playing visual / causing your program to crash then you can try all these preference settings but it’s most probably your QuickTime version that’s been updated. So uninstall QuickTime and reinstall an older version like 7.6. (Make sure to turn off auto updates). I went through all the possible solutions for over 2 hours so trust me, this is worth trying.
