So irresponsible of a parent to perm a childs hair. I remember mom giving me a Toni (that's what we called it 60 years ago), and my eyes stung from the crap she used, and my head felt like it was on fire. I can only imagine this poor child. 😯

When I was a little kid my friends and I would do each others hair. We would steal moms products and use them. The hair removal mousse can was the same can as the hold mousse. Of course we didnt know there was any such thing as hair removal mousse. You know where I am going with this....and yes, it worked well for hair removal. Don't use your mom's products kids!

When I was about 2 yo, my mother hated it that my very fine blonde hair stuck out straight from my head and wouldn't lie down, so she and my grandmother gave me a perm. There is a picture in my baby book of me in a highchair with a binkie in my mouth and perm rollers in my hair.
