On the day Yellowstone National Park had to shut their gates and evacuate all visitors for the first time since the fires of 1988 we were in the park exploring the lower loop. At the time we found out about the evacuation orders we were 4 hours from our dogs and our RV and the bison had hit the roads causing intense Bison Jams. We made it out and all was okay for us but it was quite the adventure!

    Wow, what a harrowing experience! A story to tell, indeed! Hope the dogs weren't weirded out by it. On to Glacier Park! :)
