Each movie / tv show segment starts of with a ~5 seconds clip taken from that show / movie. See if you can guess which show or movie and which vehicle will be included in the segment. Read Below before commenting please: You are free to comment on what your favorite was which I missed, but PLEASE stop telling me what I missed in the video. NOTE: I said the Coyote X stunt car ended up as the Knight Rider 2000 PILOT, as in the series, with the Knight 4000. And that's correct.
  • I personally think Airwolf is the most beautiful helicopter up until this day! , the music , that sleekness, the beauty , that howling sound , the turbo blast the way she sits on her wheels and the way she retracts them when taking off, the chain guns and the cannon and the way she let's them out for combat , the speed and the way in which she flys so smoothly , the secret cave where shes hidden and the way Hawk flys her and drops the vizer on his helmet before blowing up the enemy!
  • I loved Knight Rider, The A Team, and Airwolf! Those were some great TV shows, and nothing today will ever be as iconic as they were!

80s was best time to be a kid by a mile. Huge Knightrider fan

One of the things that many people seem to skim over or not pay enough attention to really notice about Airwolf: She has a learning computer and adaptive computerized flight controls. As seen in Moffett's Ghost and Mind of the Machine, the computer is linked to every system. Combined with a few moments involving Dom, who often talks to the copter as if were a person, and the occasional times when you can hear snarling/growling, it's possible that the onboard computer may be developing a sort of AI of its own, or have some basic one and is buiding on it. I've always thought that was particularly cool.

Was gonna say, you missed The Rubber Duck, The Bandit and Snowman, but then I realized that these were all in the 70's. Now I realize that I'm just old.
  • so glad i was a kid in the 80s. There are just no shows like these being made anymore in the last 20/30 years
  • @Michael-jj9bd
A-Team and Knight Rider were my favorite. 1973 kid. The best of times.

What a great selection of 80's vehicles of all types. The General Lee will always be my favourite. The 80's will always be the very best decade to have grown up in. Not only did they have the best TV shows, but films, music etc etc.
  • @matthewiles5714
I loved this list. It's pure nostalgia. I was born in 1979 so grew up with a lot of these iconic vehicles. Thank you for a great trip down Memory Lane.
  • @Brian.Weimer
You left out one of the coolest TV cars of the 80's, Automan's super car, a Lamborghini Countach LP400. The definitive car of the future!
  • This video was both a straight up nostalgia-gasm, and an introduction to some more obscure stuff that I now need to watch. Thanks, friend.
  • Street Hawk was one of my favorites in the mid 80's. I'm almost 45, pure nostalgia, thanks for the memories...
  • @dannyr2976
It has to be Airwolf for me, such a stunning lookin' bird. To quote Dominic Santini "No matter how many times I see her, she still takes my breath away...." An iconic 80s TV vehicle not included was Automan's Lamborghini and Helicopter, it would be interesting to know what happened to those.
  • @thefish8002
There were a lot of cool vehicles from the cannonball run films. Might be worthwhile to do a video on them. Also, hands down, The General Lee!
  • That was great. I have a lot of memories popping back into my head. Thank You!!
  • @72ocutter
Still get goosebumps when I hear knight rider theme. Born in 72, Such a great time to grow up.
  • @just82much51
The 80's was the decade of decades and I'm so grateful to have come of age in that time, so I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane! My choice for most iconic 80's car has to be Keaton's Bat Mobile followed by the BttF Delorian. Thanks so much for putting this video together!!!!
  • @ahhamartin
EXCELLENT video. Thanks for not neglecting TC's chopper and Cutter's Goose. EDIT; you even included Stingray! NICE.
