69 Mustang has to be one of the best looking cars ever, hell it even looks fast parked.

I dont understand how these kinds of barn finds are still even possible nowadays

Sad that Mr. Bob Justice only got to enjoy her for a passing moment but someone stored her right so we can admire it today. Thank you Bob and those responsible for her storage.

Poor original owner never got to experience it fully. Rip Bob justice forever ripping his 302 down the quarter

the current owner bought it from my ex-boss (from Michigan), who in turn bought it from a gentleman from Illinois in 2013, so the barn find was actually credited to gentleman in Illinois that purchased it from original texas family back in 2009. the gentleman in illinois also once owned the one of one 1967 GT500 Super snake.
  • 69 in my opinion is the best year for mustangs. 69 Boss 429, 69 Boss 302, GT500, GT350, Mach 1 ect.....
  • I got to look over this car a few years back at the Steamboat Springs Mustang Roundup. I also met this gentleman, Randy. He was very happy to show me around the car, and all the special things, bespoke to the car. I was able to snap well over 40 photos of it and it is one of the best barn finds, I’ve seen since- Rod Hollins 69 boss 429 (royal maroon car that ended up on Barrett Jackson years later) barn find back in the early 00’s (I believe that car had less than 300 miles on it)

I couldn’t imagine how much this iconic piece of art is worth. Absolutely stunning.
  • Having even the license plate matching as in the original bill of sale ! amazing provenence. Truly a special car. Was going to joke that at 1/4 mile at a time 198 miles is a fair amount of driving, then I watched the video : ]

I don’t get people who park these cars for decades without doing anything with them. Kudos to the original drag racer who did an outstanding job putting this car together.

Sounds like a solid lifter cam. Owned a air conditioning business & stored in it. What a treat.

If I was to go to that car show I would think iam in heaven because I love mustangs
  • OMG! Love that car and the story behind it is very emotional, very touching. That must be a $500,000 car! 😯💗👍

I love 69s. In 1970 at age 18 I bought a 69 plane Jane looking 428 CJ 4spd. fastback Mustang Highlander green. No P/S or air. It had 13,000 miles I paid $1,900 for it. What a car to have at during the muscle car era, and to be 18. I used to run it at the old Irwindale Raceway Ca. Best time was 13.46. Slow considering my 2016 F-150 2.7 L V6 would beat it now. Your car is just great. I wouldn’t change a thing. Take care, tim
