  • Awesome finding the LS6. Too bad it is almost gone. Thank you for sharing. 👍
  • No way to tell if it is a LS6 without the build sheet. A 396/402 car could have the F41 suspension. The infamous L on the tag is still a mystery. Thanks for sharing. I learned that from Patrick Glen Nichols, BTW.
  • Isn't funny that there is more LS6 Chevelles now than in 1970 ?😊
  • Your wealth of knowledge is always impressive. Love your content brother. Keep up the good the great work!
  • Lots of bucket seats going bad. But they look very complete for as long as they’ve been sitting. Good video! Always informative.

A terrible waste letting that Chevelle rot away like that, I bet Patrick Glenn Nichols would be interested in this car

Spare wheel "date codes" would of been educational too.
  • Thanks for the journey through time and your superior knowledge.
  • I cant believe someone would let a car like this just sit and rot away because "Im gonna rebuild it one day" is about 15 years to late and they would rather see the car rot into the Earth before another man owns it

Cool story, bro. I agree with others that without the engine, dealer paperwork or build sheet, it can’t be determined if it’s a real LS6. Another thing is LS6 cars had a higher redline on the rack than other SS cars, but I see that the gauge cluster is gone.
  • I knew I had seen those cars before and that chevelle I was told maybe 20years ago that the LS6 motor was pulled and put into a tow truck that was sitting in front at the time. The cars were in a bit better shape back then but it’s PA so they were still rough. I was just a teenager with no money hunting for a 69 Camaro cheap

Interesting video . Had to chuckle at the comment all for sale except the LS6 . Think the owner could put his mind at rest 😊

Wow some amazing finds !! Love the chevelle !! Great video
  • It would be a big job but if that's a real ls6 Chevelle I'd sure like to make it my next restoration. Thanks for sharing this!
  • Always fun looking through old yards like this; they’re still out there guys! A little love for that Fathom Green ‘69 RS‘vert ❤ that thing would be a sweet ride!

Patrick Glen McNichol can be the guy to verify if this is an LS6 car. FYI in 1970 the Buick GS Stage 1 455 ran a 13.38 quarter mile in box stock trim and will give a great argument about what car was the fastest pure stock car built in 1970!!!!

I've only owned 1 69 Camaro and it was code 67 burgundy with standard black interior. It was just a 307 Powerglide car though. I didn't realize the color was rare.
