Emmanuel Wanyonyi only beat Canada’s Marco Arop by the slimmest of margins, but that was all he needed to take the men’s 800m gold. #NBCSports #Olympics #Paris2024

I am 56 years of age, so I have seen quite a few Olympics since I was little... THIS Olympics is the very best and most exciting for track I have EVER seen bar none.
  • @chengchenlin573
Hoppel running 1:41.67 but didn't make the podium... crazy. Rudisha's record is in trouble with this many sub-1:42 times.
  • @darrellid
Never thought I'd see four competitors finishing under 1:42 in an Olympic final, but it's been that kind of year for the men's 800m.
  • @samuelmotari
The Kenyan Wanyonyi was so humble and underrated. He just let the actions do all the talking.

Next time Bryce. You'll get it. 🇺🇲🇺🇲

I wonder how they would’ve determined the winner like 50 years ago without the technology
  • Literally David Rudisha 2.0...accept he actually has close competition!!! He is still young, I think he will get the wr
  • Wanyoni looks like he's about to fade back and then suddenly holds on once someone is on the brink of passing him. First with Tual, and then with Arop. He's got serious grit!
  • @jeff09_
Very proud of Hoppel!!! New American record is no joke especially since that record belonged to Donavon Brazier. He’s going to be hungry going into the next few championships
  • @gba1514
This guy is going to break Rudisha's record.
  • 50 or 100 meters more distance, Cannada runner would have beaten Keyna runner! Absurd win such close, both should be declared as tie! That means US can get bronze!
