I love how you dog on good game engines because people use them horribly, instead of dogging on the people who use the engine wrongly.

alright man, considering the people that make trash games from common development software does not mean the software itself sucks. Its by skill.
  • Okay but as a kid, I made a TONNE of games in PowerPoint. In fact I had no idea its actual use was for presentations. I thought it was a kind of game-making software.

  • Ok, to be honest, here me out: THE POWER OR POTENTIAL OF A GAME ENGINE IS UP TO THE PERSON WHO WIELDS IT. If you understand how each of these engines work, you can make amazing games in any of these engines. The only thing you need to know is to utilize well the engine. If you don’t, then the results will not be pleasant.
