Fuzz rock is making sort of a comeback, but is that comeback any good?

There's new ones from old Ty Segall bandmates Charles Moothart and Chad Ubovich's Meatbodies, possibly due to a total un-chill vibe shift in the Cali pysche rock scene (according to JJ.). But newcomer and Satan enthusiast Ball comes outta nowhere witha dirty track and an even dirtier attitude. where is this genre going?

Sum 41 has returned with a twist on the "we're fucked" genre, Medium Build creeps us out with a sensual song about making his action figures kiss, Alec Benjamin patronizes mental illness in a really tacky (but i guess hugely popular) way, IDLES come through with another snooze fest, and Plain White Tees due the opposite of getting us "fired up."
