Join us for a week in the life of two married doctors. This week I'm doing inpatient internal medicine and Mark is doing inpatient hospitalist medicine. We're excited to share some cases with you and share a typical day in the life of a doctor!

Special thank you to Mir Shafiee and to the Sault Area Hospital!

I'm halfway and I'm loving this format. Feels like I'm watching a true reality show and I'm getting invested in the patients' stories. I hope they all come to a conclusion at the end!
  • Y’all are literally a power couple who are going to save so many people
  • @kelly1827
I'm really enjoying this new phase on your channel! It's also nice to see Mark getting more comfortable being on camera. Looking forward to the next video 😁

I absolutely loved this format. A week in the life with both of you?? Amazing.
  • I really enjoyed this format as well as the day in the life versions. It's great to see more of Mark as well. I definitely enjoy being able to follow a few patient's journeys as well from entering with symptoms to investigating said symptoms to diagnosis and treatment.
  • The angiogram, the Transesophageal echocardiogram, the nicotine patches, the possible cancer from streptococcus bovis bacteremia. I love how much you guys know and teach. It must be wonderful to share a life together. I could only imagine the days where you discuss a complex case together as you decipher it. Also the steps that your husband did to figure out the mesenteric pain were awesome to follow through.
  • Both of you are AWESOME! We are lucky to have young, enthusiastic, diligent doctors like the two of you here in Canada. Don’t leave us for the USA please…. we need you here!❤🙏👏🇨🇦
  • As a stage 4 colon cancer patient, I was interested to hear about strep bovis. Your videos are always so informative.
  • I love when you have mark in your videos. Married doctors run in my family, I think it’s so much fun
  • As a nurse I love the medical mysteries!!! And again, love, love, LOVE your videos!!! Keep them coming! Best to the both of you!
  • Loving the doctor duo you have going on! Must be so nice to be able to work together doing what you guys love.
  • I really like this style of a week in the life, where each of you focus on one patient and delve deep into each step of the diagnostic process. Two things I would really love to see added to something like this would be a debrief after each day where you two talk together (with anonymity of course) about the patient you are focusing on, and get each other's perspective on what the other is seeing. The other thing I'd love to see is a follow up later on (if you could) just checking that patient's records to share the conclusion of their story (how the treatment worked out or what new developments there were). Great video as always!
  • Can we just Appreciate how far this channel has grown and how far Siobhan has grown. I remember when her husband was never in videos, and now he pops up frequently. I absolutely love seeing the life of two doctors. They both compliment each other and give off positivity with excellence.

I learned that my cancer has spread to my lungs and brain and for some reason your calming voice and zest for life bring me comfort.
  • @Leotactic
The great doctor series we finally got to see❤ Mark & Siobhan the way you guys manage your everyday life is truly an inspiration for us🎉
  • You guys are too cute. I love watching you guys do medicine. I am in the medical field and I use every opportunity to learn from your videos. Thank you for including us.😊
  • I am a cancer survivor. I had originally planned to get my bachelors in chemistry, but now I'm going to get it in biochemistry. I have hopes to get my md in biochem, but that's a long way away.
  • I like week in the life better because we get to see updates on the patients! As a nurse myself, I love love love your content. Keep it up.
  • I really love these videos where you show us the steps in making a diagnosis. They are so interesting, how you put the pieces of the puzzle together to get the diagnosis. Please keep these types of videos coming! I am not a doctor or anything, I am just a medical nerd who loves learning this kind of stuff. Medicine is SO fascinating.
