Set ya clocks for the 5th of Feb. The stand up special is my baby - would mean the world if you grabbed it!
  • @benclark96
A DJ named BEAThoven who playes remixed classical music would actually be fire
  • @DANNYonPC
''oh god you're so privately educated'' best insult ive heard
  • @guldcat1619
"It has to be noticeably Beethoven." "It's gotta be house music then, innit?" Literally one of the best exchanges in human history.

These days, it's pretty rare for people to actually enjoy music in clubs. I'm a DJ myself, people only enjoy your sets if they specifically paid to hear it
  • @aycoded7840
Don't worry, many great musicians aren't appreciated until after their deaths. You did a fantastic job.
  • The crowd didn’t pass the vibe check tbh the music was wicked

I do love Beethoven, but if you had mixed in some Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, and Holst, it would have added some fire to the flames and really gotten that party started!! I am a musician myself, and have a heart for classical music. I do understand how to manipulate it to keep the sound, but give the feel of a different genre. Great Job!!!!

proceeds to list composers God you’re so privately educated Absolutely killed me
  • @Oplutmagicman
To be fair this just means Max got the truly authentic experience of being a beginner DJ playing to people who couldn’t care less if you were DJing or an IPod was on shuffle
  • @teph26239
it surprised me that people didn't even seem to notice the change in music...like its freaking classical music in the club, i thought that people would be more engaged... this blasé atmosphere ain't it... you did great, Max!

“You’re so privately educated” is such a phenomenal insult
  • @HeWhoShams
I would've absolutely been jamming to DJ Beathoven.
  • @benjinho.
i wouldve lost my mind if a DJ played this at a club I was at, these people do not pass the vibe check
  • There is nothing funnier in the world than Max Fish in a wig that is bouncing up and down while he enthusiastically plays Beethoven beats to an utterly bored crowd 9:28

i am not gonna get tired of saying it: if i had the chance to somehow transport a historic figure to this day and age, i would take mozart and let him go wild at an underground rave with a synthesizer/looper, while hes rolling.
  • as a sound tech for a club in Seattle, i can tell you now that your performance was more unique and full of character than 99% of acts that pass through a typical electronic music joint. the fact that you managed to include a live performance component with little to no training beyond the scope of this video is absolutely spectacular and i commend you for it! it's an absolute shame that most club-goers don't have the care to pay mind when a great act comes on stage... gimmick or otherwise. huge shoutout to your promoter hookup for the recognition and flexibility to let weirdness into the scene

“Mummy always did encourage punctuality” KILLED ME LMAO
  • @cursedsound
I don't know if people realize how much courage this takes, especially without real practice. I DJ every week and I'm still nervous on every performance 😂Well done 💪
