    I was nine years old and this series broke my heart so bad...the Mets were definitely the best team but Orel and the Dodgers just got on one of those magical runs...it was a great story but a Mets A's World Series would have been epic.

    Doc never won a playoff game, even though he pitched fantastic in many of them (especially in 86 and 88 with the Mets).
