I had thought that feeling ghostly presences fancifu, until I visited New Norcia planning to photograph the monastery. I could not get out of town fast enough. The thought of those poor little boys and the unjust punishments meted out to them by the "christian" monks charged with their care. It's an evil evil place. I will not return.
