The Roof of the 2012 Fisker Karma is another example of Design and Technology benefiting from a form that integrates both. The Karma redefines what a sun roof is.... Eighty monocrystaline solar cells are hand-laid under the automotive safety glass and feed energy into the Karma's electrical system.

Additionally when the Karma is on or when it is in accessory mode the Karma will use all available solar power. When the Karma is parked it will intelligently allocate power to cabin ventilation or electrical systems charging according to cabin temperature and the battery's state of charge. This may be the first time that the sun makes you cool!

So when parked and it is 100 plus degrees outside the interior stays a cool 80 degrees always.
