mp_urban for Call of duty [4] Promod run-through.

mp_urban was created my myself (taint) and fastarms of the Cybergamer Call of Duty Competitive community. Created to open the community up to new maps and a new game play instead of the same old stock maps.

This map went through several changes from mp_reach,mp_reach_final, mp_dusty and finally this our final version mp_urban, changes were decided based on community feedback and has the main features of a competitive map in cod4.

Even sides with a central building similar to crash in the middle,controlling this essential for communication and controlling the map.

An enclosed and open bombsite with direct routes to each with minor alternative paths which allow for a variety of play styles. The mid street similar to strike and crossfire it provides a challenge to the attacking and defending teams on rushes.

Timed approaches so defense gets to the bombsites marginally faster than attack which is standard for competitive maps.

This map is easy to learn and won't confuse you when first playing, we recommend you use a config with light tweaks to enhance the maps stock lighting, light tweaks were used in the recording of this run-through, also decals were turned off.
