  • Me and a few others contracted leishmaniasis. When I was serving on a deployment in Afghanistan from 09-10. We could have brought it over when transporting our things back from overseas. I was treated at the Nato base called Camp Marmal at the time. They did a biopsy to confirm it was Leishmaniasis. Then they froze it and cut it off the best they could and gave me a shot of who knows what after. Which made me sick for a week and a few days. They came back from deployment only to have three more biopsy done to make sure it was gone.
