  • Real respect brother! What you are doing is just amazing and endlessly inspiring! Thank you!
  • @fotisgimian4258
I could just listen to you play ad lib for hours, well done mate, really great stuff! :)
  • Thanks Daniel, looking forward to getting this library. I agree the tone is beautiful and having the options to divisi and also play fast legato passages is fantastic!
  • @natanelarnson
such a nice sounding library, especially the soft stuff. thanks
  • @duszan2
wonderful composing, great knowledge and feel - congrats. I'm really considering buying Soaring Strings by the way, they seem to be just what I look for. Cheers :)

Ha, the bass motif you play at 13:12 happens to be (probably pure coincidence) a principal motif in Rachmaninov's first symphony. Great piece of music, very epic, dramatic and emotional.

For those of us beginners on a budget, it would be extremely helpful if you did a video on what you consider the most essential sample libraries to start with (your go-to's so to speak). Since there are so many libraries out there for brass/strings/percussion/winds/synth it can be very very difficult to decide on what's needed to get started making music that sounds great. And it makes it harder to decide when there's no way of trying them out before you buy (which your preview videos help a ton with by the way). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a video that outlines a solid set of sample libraries from which to start. Thank you!!!! (I personally only have Komplete 10 Ultimate which I got on sale for $400) Happy Birthday!

thank you for these videos Daniel. i was a bit surprised to see that you're using ableton, i haven't seen many people using it for scoring, is there a special reason or are you just comfortable with it?
  • @PontusHultgren
Can you recommend any Choir VST's with powerful ooh's and aah's? Thanks for all the helpful videos
  • @tonymusiker4316
Hey daniel thanks for the vid. What brass library did you use in the cue at the beginning? That was so good and nice-sounding, congrats! If you scored a movie or something I'd love to check it out

Just a quick note: the legato patches aren't quite the sustain patches with the legato transitions grafted on. The sustain patches have 5 dynamic layers while the legato patches have 4. Small difference, but still notable.

Hello Daniel! Nice video! What computer are you using and what specs do you have? :)
  • @VFXCommander
You should use this library more often. The quality is insane! I, personally, would like to hear more emotional string passage. I wonder as the first product this company made, how did they managed to make such quality? And where it was recorded?
  • @ovonisamja8024
Kinda feel bad for not buying these instead of a different library. It was only until I saw this video that I found out about them. Cool videos btw. :)
  • @axlorchestra1989
Why did you use a Ableton? M-audio console didn't work with Cubase?
  • @dinesh66yuvi
Can you do a tutorial on Midi controlls on clip envelopes like modulation,breath,expression,etc..i think this is very important to get realistic strings.
