With Batman being one of the most popular characters of all time, Hollywood kinda has no choice but to churn out new movies featuring him every few years. And so they have… since the 1980s. The latest is THE Batman, starring Robert Pattison as the Caped Crusader, directed by Matt Reeves.

The Batman definitely raises a few questions. Like what inspired them to cast Robert Pattinson and Colin Farell? Are these going to get even DARKER? Why doesn’t anyone aim for Batman’s mouth? How freakin’ long is this movie? Why was it a shock to find out that the criminal guy was a liar and a bad guy? What was that green juice that saved the entire day at the end? What is that suit even made of?

To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to The Batman! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Not only was the car chase going after a wrong hunch, he had Penguin at the warehouse, with bags of money, a drug lab, and a dead girl. For no reason mid-fight, Batman runs over to the batmobile and starts revving the engine, waiting for someone else to get in a car and flee. He forced that deadly car chase, because he hadn’t been able to use the batmobile yet in the movie.

"A very Italian American flightless bird" Oh my gosh this guy is too good
  • Can we just take a moment to acknowledge that Ryan George has been making Pitch Meetings for more than 4 years now and yet they're still absolute comedy gold every single time, without fail. This man is a treasure! And congrats for finally having a Pitch Meeting channel!!!

When I was watching The Batman in the cinema, at the moment he face plants into that bridge while base jumping, then walks away with hardly a limp, the first thing that popped into my mind was ‘barely an inconvenience’.

The one thing that astounded me about the movie is how we're apparently supposed to believe that Batman keeps his entire outfit, complete with weapons and everything, in that little backpack when he's on his bike. Also, that Batman/Catwoman ride-off scene I was like, "Wait....I thought the city was flooded?"
  • @storysnob1022
The way he talks over himself and makes it sound natural is legit impressive. Eddie Brock and Venom impressive 👌🏻
  • @TellItAnimated
So happy that the Pitch Meetings have their own channel now :)
  • @scooble
wow, Pattinson's range from dark and moody to moody and dark is astounding
  • @SpeedManS
No one seems to notice, this version of Batman doesn't stop anything. I like the movie, his detective side... but he is late for everything ! Doesn't stop the killing or the flooding.... he might be the least efficient batman of all the movies

I was never ready for “very specific uncles are tight!” 😂🤣🤣 I died!

"A VERY Italian American flightless bird!" I love how he says that like it's a perfectly common stereotype.
  • @jacobbelz
i lost it at “so then the police bring him to the police building. ya know, where you bring injured people?” 😂😂😂
  • @RonnieBarzel
That “Good Time” line still gives me a good ab workout from the hard laughter.
  • 5:24 “but there are still a bunch of cosplayers around” the absolute peril in his voice 😂
  • @Dhairyasheel192
The Batman pitch meeting being the Pitch Meeting channel's first standalone Pitch Meeting is tight!
  • When I watched the movie I heard Ryan's voice in my head "Why doesn't he just throw the Baterang to cut the electrical wire?" - "Sir, you need to get alllll the way off my back" - "Whoopsie, lemme get off of that thing"
  • @Lord.Kiltridge
This is not only funny but shockingly 100% accurate at the same time. Especially the part about the whole movie.
  • Batman has more plot armor in this movie than any other movie he's been in. Completely bulletproof (except when he's not), a super strength plot juice vial on his suit (just in case), takes getting blown up at point blank range and is not severely injured or damaged, and then phenomenally fucks up crashing from the top of a 40 story building at near terminal velocity and only limping and moaning after getting hit with a bridge, a bus, and a car before crashing into the pavement.
