I don't think I'd ever try to do a whole rebuild from the ground up, but I would love to have tools where I could set relationships up between families and maybe repopulate a world. When it comes to building houses etc, I really try to borrow style cues from the surrounding neighbourhood - just deleting all the lots would terrify me! Maybe in a while I may try to do something a bit more adventurous, but even then I'd likely try to pick a theme for the builds for a neighbourhood, like having a group of houses made from two storey white boxes (as I made one house from a really boring shell just to see if I could make it attractive. Gallery ID: Captll, the lot is called something like "Box and proud of it!"). (Perversely, I also keep trying to figure out how I can make a massive greenhouse like the Eden Project in Cornwall, because I'd love a community lot where I could just harvest every type of plantable in game without having to faff about waiting for the plant to be harvestable in whatever neighbourhood... I wish the round room tools were much better...) I've got a few households set up for when I get certain packs as I'm base game only at the moment, I don't know how any of these ideas fit in to your world building, but I thought I'd share them in case they get you thinking of something in your worlds that add to the drama etc. Some of these households are in my gallery, others are just in my library: -A young adult and his child cousin. The YA is an outdoorsy loner, but he takes in his orphaned cousin rather than let the kid get lost in the system, so now he is caught between his own desires to just fish and travel, and between working to make sure his cousin gets a good start in life -A YA playboy who has had the child from a one-night stand left on his doorstep, and now he can't have the same kind of party lifestyle he used to. -A group of YAs living together as they are all in the athletic career and the team have given them shared accommodation. Each person has a different attitude, so one simply loves playing the sport, while another wants to get rich, another wants to get fame and have a string of romantic partners... -A group of teens and children living together in an abandoned warehouse that is off the grid -A family who have downsized, and also have had to take in the grandfather who has some behavioural issues (Erratic, Slob and possibly mean traits IIRC) because the father was paying the care home fees -A Grandfather looking after his two granddaughters after their parents were killed in a car accident -A group of women who have decided to keep living together after university because they all want to keep the party lifestyle going for a little while -A wildly mismatched pair who live together (one is a bohemian free spirit, the other is a very shy nerd) -A high strung chef, with their much more laid back fiance who helps keep them grounded -A Young couple who can't have children of their own, living in a dilapidated mansion that they are slowly rebuilding in to a place where they can adopt/foster children. Not sure if any of those work with what you're planning, I just like the idea of having households with an odd structure

I was just making my own save file for my personal gameplay and yt recommends me this :D so well done!! Making the families is the fun part for me but then I realize I'll have to build for them lol
