To start our Indonesian street food tour in Padang, we went for a classic Minang breakfast, Lontong Gulai.
To continue our Indonesian street food tour in Padang, we went to the world-famous Lamun Ombak restaurant to try the best food this province has to offer, Rendang, Dendeng, Gulai kepala ikan, and more. It was the feast of a lifetime.
Moving on with our Indonesian street food tour in Padang, we went for a delicious Es cream durian to cool us down, and later on, we had a massive seafood feast with lobster, crab, squid, and more, everything cooked in the famous spicy Sauce Padang.
To end our Indonesian street food tour in Padang, we tried the super popular Sate Padang for dinner.

Hi people! My tip if you're the first timer going to Padang restaurant if they serve all the dishes on your table: only pick the dishes you like. No matter you can finish tiny, half or a whole plate you'll still be charged per plate. If you only wanna try gulai soup (kuah gulai) it's ok to just pour it from one of the plates. Don't forget to keep the main dish untouched. So it's gonna be a fun experience not a scam when you wisely pick your favorite dishes.

Benar bang, kalo pertama kali makan sate Padang, banyak orang tidak suka. Terutama tekstur kuahnya. Tapi kalo dicoba makan sekali lagi, baru terasa enak. Teman saya orang Jawa seperti itu, awalnya tidak suka, sekarang malah ketagihan.
