The New Angry Bird is...

...Kirby

Rovio made the right decision to create a new angry bird. I can imagine people will find her useful and a great addition to the franchise. Welcome to the flock, Melody!

I actually like this new bird. Melody's ability to inhale blocks from the Pigs' fortresses and spit them out like Kirby just seems like such a useful tactic. It reminds me a lot of Darth Piggy's ability to bring items to him and push them back with the force in The Star Wars apps. I might re-download Angry Birds 2 just for her. She's sure to be a fun ally.

Melody is just like a Kirby bird. Really useful if you get stuck trying to destroy all the wood.

Basically take Kirby, recolor him a light orange color, add wings and a beak, change his gender from male to female, upgrade his inhaling ability in a musical way, and boom. You have Melody.

Everything about the bird is good even for design honestly. And yes, I'm still not gonna lay off the fact that while a completely new bird is cool, old birds should have gotten some attention (ie. Ice Bird, Stella's cast and Tony) but it's not too late. Rovio can still add cool new birds with complete fresh powers and still be like a source of all the other birds we came to remember back in the days where we played AB games when we were bored back in 2015 somewhere so. TL;DR New bird good, bring back old birds

I don't see anything off about the design imo. She doesn't share any of the colours of the main birds (excluding the separate Stella Franchise) and the beauty spot is really unique yet simple! doubt there's much difference between the main birds themselves and OCs anyway, since there's little room to deviate from their little blob-shaped bodies.

There is another Angry Bird, and I remember the original game and even I'm surprised it's still alive and well

Through speculation, I expect Melody's ability to be exactly like Darth Vader's ability from the Angry Birds Star Wars games. Even though that didn't become true, her mechanic is unique and interesting enough in her own right. Y'know, I started loving the franchise because I love the concept of birds containing various abilities that are used for the destruction of buildings. What I think Rovio should do to improve the game is create more characters with similar abilities that other characters have in their past games, like Stella and Star Wars. The abilities don't have to be exactly the same as with Melody, but they should still be fun to use. Like if Rovio plans bring back Ice Bird, I would recommend they change his ability to be more than just turning everything to ice. Have him be like Bomb where he still turns everything into ice once he explodes but has him knock back everything around him once his ability is activated, or something better than that.

Add her to the next Angry Bird Epic (if it ever comes out)! I think she could easily be a cool Wabafett-kirby hybrid! Now that I think about it, if I ever work at Rovio, I will make Angry Birds Epic 2 happen lol
