John 10:21-42 - Skip Heitzig

Published 2016-10-06
To believe or not to believe—that is the eternal question. John 10:21-42 highlights the fact that even though Jesus said He was the Son of God, many people in the world still do not believe this truth. As we take the Lord's Supper, we learn there is a huge difference between doubt and unbelief.

This teaching is from our series 43 John - 2016 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

I don't know why people say that Jesus was born in December not even the Middle Easterns claim this he did not ask us to celebrate his birth he asked us to celebrate in him each and every day praising him glorifying him that he resurrected and now his Spirit lives within us and those that believe have eternal life with the father celebrate Jesus everyday I don't celebrate these Pagan trees with the ornaments and the gifts there is nothing more splendorous and Majestic than the Lord God Almighty creator of Heaven and Earth

Antiochus IV Epiphanes was Greek, not Syrian. Epiphanes means great, that his greatness is so obvious.not God in flesh. Thank you for the excellent study though! It is such a blessing in our relationship with the Lord!

You're the one who is funny. The reason why the Jews was trying to stone Him for blasphemy was not because He said "I and my Father are one" but because according to Jesus He was claiming to be "the Son of God" for He said "My Father" (re. verse 30,36)

This person believes the Jews more than he believes Jesus. In John 10:36 Jesus said the reason why the Jews were stoning Him was that He said "I am the Son of God" and not because He said "I and the Father are one." Do you even know the meaning of context?
  • William Shakespeare is the most childish overrated playwright ever. Reading the Gospels is far more interesting and dramatic and written with far more skill than old Shakespeare could ever perform. Imagine chucking out Shakespeare and replacing it with the Bible. What wonderful kids we will have.

Christmas is pagan and should not be celebrated; Jesus was conserved by the holy Spirit in December but He was not born in December; He was born in September 28th or 29th

It's amazing how he suddenly diverted form the context of verses 28,29 when he interpreted v.30. Jesus and the Father are not one in deity. They are one (v30). They are both "gripping" or taking care, protecting the sheep (v28-29.) Don't put words in Jesus' mouth, stick to the topic.
