Sometimes God doesn't answer our prayers exactly when or how we think He should. Tragedy happens to all people, even those who love Jesus. As we study the story of Lazarus, we learn that God's delays are not His denials, and He does things on His own perfect timetable.

Thank You, Jesus. Reading my bible means that I see myself clearly and improve on myself. After reading about Martha and Mary's approach to their brother's death, I think that I will act a cross between Martha and Mary. I am praying for total humility before God and to be like Mary, who was always humbled and acted right before Jesus. I know that His Spirit will keep moving His children to the place of total humility before Him. Thank you, Pastor Skip.

Man I am so greatful to hear your sermon today Pastor Skip. My mom gave me a Calvary Chapel book called the harvest a long time ago that had 10 calvary pastors testimonies in there and yours was one of them. Anyways led me to watch this video today. I pray that I am always at the feet of Jesus in the good and the bad and can't wait to get to heaven when my time is done. God bless you Skip!

This is Very important sermon , There is So much to learn , such as , we all have task , or should I say calling , No matter how many times we hear we seem to forget , foe example a delay is not denial , God is not slow to His promises . it's not our fault it's human's nature , So it is best thing to do to write down otherwise we forget , we usually forget after 72 hours , we all do . great sermon brother Skip

Again as I’ve said the past. Please don’t ever remove these videos. Today I resonate with the honesty of Thomas, that delay is NOT denial, and what posture do I find myself in the good and in the difficult? Through proper lament I generally land at His feet.
