My eyes are cloudy when I hear this song. I can't. Bare soul Namjoon. Honest, sincere and uncorrupted. That's RM.

Indigo is the 6th color in rainbow. ARMY's are purple (7th), and Namjoon represents himself as blue (5th). So this album is in the middle of himself and ARMY. He wanted to tell us everything he went through since he also said that this is his last "archive" in his late twenties 💜 #chesticleswithchain

Also there are many ryhme in his korean lyric. For example, "When all this fame turned into shackles", 'fame' and 'shackles' have almost same sound in Korean. Another example, "My start was poetry", "Start" is pronounced "Si-Jak", and "Poetry(poem)" is pronounced "Si" in Korean, so "Si-jak' starts with "Si"(poem). His wordplay and double meaning are more impressive if you can read the lyric in Korean😊😊

This song his the mirror of how Namjoon is feeling for a long time which he showed so well in Festa 2022. He needs freedom, a new chapter, to be more himself and to have emotional structure and support in his personal life. His freedom it's represented by the wild flowers field vs fireworks (star shows, concerts and celebrity life). That's why he aims for flowerworks vs fireworks. 💜

When he's in the storm, the debris flying around him includes microphones. I think he looks finally free in the last shot when he's lying in the flower field where the real him belongs.

There was no SUGA production on this album. Dockskim said he worked the hardest on this song, producing it, and that Dockskim was thinking about retiring, but after working on this song, he changed his mind, got inspiration from RM. That was an awesome story. There is an interview RM did, and all the artists were interviewed as well. It was really good. You could do that one for your PATREON, or post it here also. fireworks disappear at once, but flowerworks doesn't. rm said desire to remain around us like flower. and Nak Hwa nori-korean traditional firework was really meaningful. Nak Hwa means falling flower and falling fire. in the mv, fire is not cg, it's real.

i very much hope joon sees your reaction 🫶 joon said he doesn’t want to live like a firework which is bright and flashy but temporary. he’d rather live like a wildflower, humble but beautiful and proud. both scatter across the sky (as fire or as petals) but one fizzles out and leaves emptiness behind and the other is eternal, always finding new ground to plant itself into. i think he’s struggled for a while with holding onto his “true” self, it seems like he equates fireworks to boyhood and wildflowers to eternity. at one point he says he can’t go up to the stars again which implies he doesn’t want to be a firework, despite their beauty they’re always flashing and doing what needs to be done to put on a show. in contrast, wildflowers are calm, proud, loyal to their roots, and beautiful in a gentle and consistent way. i’m so unbelievably proud of him. this entire album is amazing and i hope he’s proud. your reaction was so funny!! you’re very good at interpreting lyrics— understandable as a rapper haha.

In wild flower, he goes "me no hero, me no villain. im just here". in persona he goes "you must never lose your temperature because you don’t need to be warm or cold" I think that's a parallel

it's the most cathartic song i've ever heard man, feels like it's not a comfort song, it's an explosion of pent up emotions, i can't even explain in words how much i love joon

I have lost all respect in the integrity of the Grammy's because of how they treated BTS, but this song, the whole album fvcking deserves to win, the level of artistry is waaaayyyy above any song that has won over the last few years. It needs to be recognized by the world. We know RM and his art does not need validation, but as ARMY, I WANT JOON TO WIN because he DESERVES. IT.
