  • Ben breaking down in laughter was so real lmao “he’s acting like she’s the weird one ??” 😭😭
  • The babysitter thing is crazy. Every sitter I’ve ever had was told to help herself to any food that’s in the fridge or the pantry.
  • I think we’re forgetting that the horse story is very dependent on where they live, I live in a pretty rural area and horses going around with the people who ride them aren’t uncommon. And showing up in a riding outfit is the equivalent to showing up in a suit or workout gear. As long as a parent is dropping off and picking up their kid on time it shouldn’t matter. Also parents shouldn’t not give their children experiences just because other kids won’t have them. Just a reminder that horses aren’t for the 1% depending on where you live
  • I think there is a huge difference between not wanting to talk about your sister’s death with your spouse, and pretending your sister is still ALIVE to your spouse.
  • @SuperBelle33
Ben if your dad is an astronaut and his shuttle launch is a FEW HOURS after he's picking you up from school, I think he'd be perfectly justified to wear the spacesuit ahead of time 😂
  • @leahe2345
The landlord story is extra crazy because the boyfriend ends up saying he'd be ok with her being a landlord if she gives him HALF the rent of the tenant while doing NOTHING. So much for him being morally outraged.
  • @TheJulietxo
LMAO Ben dying over the sister one is making me cryy😂😂😂😂😂
  • @thespankmyfrank
I 100% understand why the wife who's husband lied about his dead sister feels "betrayed", because he LIED. He went on a trip to go to a funeral, presumably for at least a few days, and probably spoke to his wife while there, keeping up the lie. He could've just said "I don't want to talk about this, but my sister died and I'm going to the funeral", like how hard is that? If she kept asking about it, he could once again say "please, I don't want to talk about it" and that's it. To be honest, he really seems to hate his wife lol. The way he writes about her makes it seem like he just dislikes her caring nature, which to me is wild. Why did he even marry her if she can't care for him during hard times? Isn't that even in the classic wedding vows lol, in sickness and health and all that.
  • NOOO they didn’t read the update to the landlord story!!! She goes to update that she talked to the boyfriend and he wanted her to give him half of what she makes off the rent! They obviously broke up lol

Not telling the wife about going to his sister's FUNERAL is honestly psychopathic. Not wanting to talk about things is different from hiding important things like deaths in the family.

My partner didn’t feel the need to talk emotions about his sister’s passing early on, and I respected that as his grieving process, but he still told me about it??? (Her passing occurred shortly before we met/started dating). Deffs the asshole for not giving her the info at minimum 💀

As a mother of 3 kids, whenever we get a trustworthy person to babysit our kids, I will throw everything and the kitchen sink for them to have. I ALWAYS order food for the kids to include the babysitter so it's one less thing for the babysitter to worry about. Some people didn't even want to get paid, but I would pay them in energy drinks or food that they really like, I once even paid in a couple packs of cigarettes (which weren't smoked around the kids). I feel bad for that babysitter <3
  • oh i’m a nanny who does some babysitting on the side! i have always been told to help myself to any food in the house. the difference between babysitting and a more “normal” job if that as a babysitter you don’t get a lunch break or anyone to relieve you so you don’t have the opportunity to go buy yourself food. i’ve had nannying contracts that provide me a grocery stipend to keep food at the family’s home. babysitting doesn’t usually call for a contract. when it becomes a regularly scheduled nannying position, there should be a contract to protect all parties involved.
  • The pony thing is odd but I don't think they are the asshole. Unless stated otherwise in the school rules, you can drop your kid off in or on whatever you like. Is it a bit obnoxious? sure, but it's also not their fault if the other child has not been taught emotional regulation at home. The other kids were clearly ok with it, and excited that they got to see a pony. Also dropping your kid off in riding gear, feels almost a kin to dropping your kid off in yoga clothes. If you're going to go do said activity after, or were doing said activity before, why waste time changing.

Ben absolutely breaking down and losing it about the person not telling their wife about their sister dying has made my day. 😂
  • @emmamoore7551
For the last story, I was on a plane this weekend with the exact situation described. A mother was quietly singing lullabies to her baby on the plane. Probably 1-2 songs every 45 minutes for 3 hours. The baby did not cry ONCE. At the end of the flight, I was completely happy with the situation because it WORKED. If the baby was crying the whole time also, then it would have been a different story. The small songs were completely appropriate/appreciated given the situation for me at least!!
  • @xoxoRonniexoxo
Cristine: has horse girl hair but knows nothing about horses 😝
  • @tirsden
I can't fathom the "why did you eat the kids' food?" babysitter one, both from a former babysitter perspective and as a 45-year-old adult. Those kids are in deep, deep trouble with parents like that. I hope the kiddos survive... the babysitter might be one of the few sane influences in their lives, but I wouldn't blame the babysitter if they never want to sit for those parents again.
