i originally wrote this in about 2010 when i was going through some really quite tough stuff..
i have been meaning to record this song for years, since i wrote it all that time ago.. then this morning i just suddenly felt I'd best get a version of it just DONE and onto video with me in it (and to put it out even if i screw up in it a few times:( so that people can know i wrote it if anything happens to me (I'm hoping good things will happen in future though, I'm not planning on doing anything to end it right now although i have found things really tough in the past, so if you're having a tough time or just would like to talk I'd love to hear from you as it would be nice to build up friendships with people who feel in life, that is more and more a rare thing to find these days, people who feel and care how others are so thanks for caring about how others are if you do that, and please protect the good hearted where you can if things get more mental in the future world, even if it will be tough to i think we're going to have to find ways to build up and protect the good!:).. you can find me at my @PotentialTechniques channel too where I'm trying to find ways to make life better and rebuild my life after getting broken and i talk about things i find help to get through tough times etc
the lyrics are kind of deep in places, but life can be quite profound at (all?) times really and life got crazy for a while, I'd been living in a very tough area and lots of really big stuff was going on, so it made me think about the fragility of life and how profound it is even to exist but how tough it can be too and how i want to be better at showing my appreciation to others and at doing the things i meant to in life before it is too late, so the lyrics are kind of about things like that and the things i saw going on around me and in the world at times and the things i hoped could be better or that we could make better if we value what is important and good and true in life and try to stop the bad etc.. x
I'll be putting videos of me practising and recording and writing my songs on my @CastleHassallTV channel too, there are good videos to just chill out with and feel like you are there in the studio with me when I'm coming up with new ideas or just chatting etc, it's kind of like sitting in the studio when Hendrix was recording except Hendrix is not there, but i am so i hope it will be fun for you to just be there and listen to when I'm trying to come up with new ideas or grumbling about how crazy the world gets sometimes and how i hope life can and will be good for good hearted people in future.. if you could press "subscribe" on my "Castle Hassall TV" channel, or any of my channels, that would really cheer up my day if you could thanks as i really do get cheered up when i see nice comments from you in my comments section and when i see my subscriber count has gone up! and when i get 50 subscribers at "Castle Hassall TV" i will be able to live stream me playing my songs so it would be great to see you there @CastleHassallTV if you would like to click on that channel and press subscribe it would help me a lot as then I'll be able to live stream me playing and recording my songs there.. i was going to do that on this channel @CastleHassall but i have decided to keep "Castle Hassall" as a channel i will use only for my full songs and any recordings i do, so my songs are easy to find at @CastleHassall

book time at your nearest recording studio, let experienced professionals wire your guitar and voice for sound, and let them produce a machined-perfect polished result that you can put on youtube, the secret to success is investing in yourself and your talents, and without spending hard earned money on equipment to record yourself, getting to know your local audio engineers will definitely fill you with a sense of accomplishment when you hear how they can master your recordings and get the best of you captured on a medium you can share world wide. the journey on youtube is a long one. multiple years in some people's cases, so don't be discouraged, just keep your head down and keep putting pen to paper, or finger to string in your case, so to speak.

Musically your songs are absolutely beautiful. hope it's okay to give a little critique - your lyrics are not up to the standard of your gorgeous guitar work. I get the message(s) but it's all a little obvious, in my very humble opinion. Love your music so far, regardless.
