How Life Will Look Like In 2050

For the people watching in 2050. How true is this video is ? From 2022

I'm 77 & in the 1950's, 60's & later, have seen numerous films envisioning what the world would look like, in the early 21st Century? With the exception of advances in communication & medical technology, very little of those forecasts have come true! Space travel has been hampered by excessive costs & distances, as was 'super-sonic' aviation! Frankly, I predict 2050 will look far closer to 2023 than we imagine!

Now that I've watched this, I think I'm ready to return to a former era.

As much as I am an avid tech interestee, and I beleive in tech, I really beleive that there is a line that should be drawn, we are physical beings before anything else, and i love walking outside with my dogs and going for a run in the rain, by extending ourselves too deep into virtual reality i fear we may lose alot of our natural experience.

I dont know why i watch stuff like this, it just fills me with dread, whats out there already, never mind whats to come, we need to unite get to know your neighbor, work locally help build communities only together do we stand a chance, never STOP loving my brothers and sisters, unconditional love can change our world. Amazing though I thought of this just recently, and was actually making a list of all the advancement in Tech comparing the 80's to present 2023. This is not far fetched, this is going to come true. I remember my grandmother in the 70's when she said to us that the men in the TV are seeing us and we should behave, so we got interested for a second and then burst out in laughter at her 'Silly thought', she actually did think we could have communicated with the people 'in the screen'..... WELL LOOK WHO IS LAUGHING NOW. Bless her soul.

Let’s not start this again. Back in the 80’s and 90’s everyone thought we’d be living like The Jetsons in 2020. We don’t even have mass fully-functioning self driving cars yet, and we still live on the ground……

Yup kinda reminds me of the late 80s when they told us we'll be flying in our cars at 2000 like in the Movie The 5th Element ...

The way our world is today, I doubt there will be anything left.

I honestly think it’s sad how electricity is taking over our lives. Why cant we all just live how people used to in the 1900’s? I really hope none of this is true because in my opinion it’s sad how much our phones revolve around our lives.

The pace of commercial technology has slowed drastically over the past few years - mostly due to greed and wanting to stretch progress for revenue. As long as that occurs, we’ll be at a turtle’s pace.
