My friend's first pokemon was pearl and as a young boy he wasn't a very strong reader. He was constantly confused at why the game would keep asking him to put his name in, even though he had already done it at the beginning. One day as an adult he found this old copy of pearl and loaded up his save, only to find that EVERY single pokemon in his party and pc was named "jake".

They mock Lance for being bland, but he was unhinged. He canonically had his dragonite use hyper beam on a PERSON because the guy ran a front business for team rocket

As a big Pokemon fan, the amount of incorrect information being stated confidently was killing me. Perfect, no notes.

i dunno if the drawfee crew have followed the "i can't believe they locked jacob outside/sent karina to the shadow realm/sent nathan back to the mines" etc memes, but having y'all draw your favorite ones of those could be fun

So if this is a pokemon episode, but they're drawing human trainers, does that mean julia is finally gonna draw a regular pokemon??

I was absolutely baffled by them inventing a 'burning building' on cinnabar island and then spent the next 5 minutes talking about how it didn't make sense, but no one questioned whether or not that was part of the games

I just want Drawfee to know that in the official Pokemon manga, Blaine is a Team Rocket defector who was one of the scientists that made Mewtwo! He used his own cells in the process and accidentally transfered some Mewtwo cells to himself, making him biologically connected to Mewtwo (which becomes an infection that gradually takes over his body - an affliction that Entei eventually cures for him, but thats WAY later lol). He ALSO develops the Master Ball as a means to contain Mewtwo and calm it, eventually forming a partnership with it and becoming its trainer for the majority of the manga! Anyway, yeh he's a slightly insane scientist and also a cool Uncle to Red and hes awesome lol
