Abandoned Camper on My New Property- What's Inside?!

Published 2024-08-11
I bought a property that had been abandoned by its former owners in the early 2000''s. There was the old shop full of car parts, old machines and engines, and a few old speed parts. This camper has been parked right next to that former racer's shop for a very long time. Time to do a little exploring, see if we find any treasures and see if the camper can be saved.

Consider SUBSCRIBING to follow this journey...its FREEEEE and Helps the Channel more than you know...one little click goes a long way... and I won't call you at dinner time

The list of projects around here always grows and never shrinks.... its like Sisyphus... any way come along on this journey as we bite off more than we can chew once again

Save that propane light above the range, they are highly desired by restoration folks that restor old trailers. Next episode one excavator and a dumpster, haul the metal to recyclye everything else is dumped, save the trailer frame for a equipment trailer.

THE MUSIC SCARED ME SO MUCH I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS N THE LIBRARY
  • Looks like a good demolition project for your new equipment ! It won't take much to reduce it to a manageable pile, to be hauled off ! Sorry about your LUCK. Cheers, ...Newk from Kentucky

Back in 2020 finding that roll of toilet paper was a gold mine during the great toilet paper shortage lol

You got the mini x, get a roll off and tear it down and make a little utility trailer. They make great trailers.
  • Salvage the windows and sheet metal on exterior sell on marketplace as vintage camper parts. Get rid of any wood component. Check trailer once stripped for usability.

Seriously, you didn’t open the suitcase? That’s where DB’s money is!

Disassemble it and keep the frame/trailer. Btw love your Land Cruiser
  • The lighters is probably the most valuable in that...... Not joking- with the right advertising on them they can bring a few bucks 🙂

That thing is ROUGH, could be fixed with some dedication. I think if you cleared all the garbage out first it would be less shocking.... If you do, insulation suit with a mask, goggles, and gloves for sure. The floor would be the hardest part but again its really just a TON of rotten wood and a TON of time. HD carries the thin wall paneling and cheap foam board insulation. Also depends on if you have paperwork lol. Trailer frame, scrap maybe. Make the entire back open and turn it into a mobile workshop!!! haha. Awesome video!
  • I would take the ac unit, mini fridge and microwave then junk the rest.

5 gallons of diesel fuel and a road flare should fix it right up
  • @madlukasik
Fill it with scrap from around the property and take it to the dump
