I had no clue the quiz guy could ask all normal questions! When I first encountered him I was asked "How many steps have you taken" before I'd unlocked the casino. I thought it was supposed to be a gag/prank quiz.

The monster book doesn't actually work like the burglar ring, it instead sees what already drops and gives a chance to double it.

It seems like there are more than just 4 cacti you can get. It's like over a 100 versions, because there are 3-4 parts of the cactus that can have a specific look and it randomizes the combination. It has like idk 12 faces for example? It's really cool ^^

Something interesting you can do: if you go to the regular mines on a desert festival day and go down five floors with the elevator it will count for your egg rating

I've definitely gotten ladders and then drop shafts in skull caverns. The new randomization I assumed. Maybe I was just imagining things

If you play on the Riverland farm and are good at fishing. You can semi-consistently get to the festival year 1 by catching The Legend and getting lucky with rain. You need to skip the egg festival. I did it once on the forest farm, but it took an insane amount of luck, and I didn't have the same resources that I did on the riverland farm (iron pickaxe).

from what ive seen, emily’s outfits depend on what your highest skill is level wise. so if you have level 10 fishing and everything else is lower, she will give you a fishing themed outfit. idk how the game determins it when every skill is level 10, i would guess its random to some degree

Calico eggs drop from a variant geode node not an ore node, so you want geologist->excavator to improve their drop not Miner+x.
