Rob is right!! I’m so sick of people saying people are such nice people based on their words. Blah blah blah Gosh people, wake up and start paying attention to their actions! Words are who they want to be. Their actions are who they really are!

I had an uncle that made my skin crawl and he would try to bounce me on his lap when I was about 5. My parents gave me a hard time for refusing to go near him after this happened a couple of times - but this was the 60s. He attacked my mum on the night her sister died, she'd been giving her end of life care and this creepy uncle attacked her after the GP left from certifying the death. She didn't tell me for years and never told my dad as she knew he'd end up in jail for what he did to him! When I reminded her about my instincts about him as a child and how I would never go upstairs to their bathroom alone if he was around, she was really shocked. My instincts saved me as a teenager when I sensed something and got out fast with another family member- there's very good reasons why I moved hundreds of miles away when I entered adulthood and had very little to do with anyone in my family except my parents and sister!

Good to see you Rob on w/ Mike saw you on MSNBC couldn't agree with you more about being over protective with our children As an ER rn (now retired) I wake up screaming in the night over what I've seen done to children 😢 As always great show Mike

My son was a boy scout all the way through to Eagle Scout. His scout leader would never be alone with the boys. He insisted another parent, usually another father, be at all meetings and trips. When my kids were in youth group, I would randomly show up at the meetings. My husband and I never drove a child home alone. We always had a friend or our child with us.

Rob's life sounds so interesting, I love getting his expertise. Also Mike and Mizzy asked all the questions I was thinking about, and made great points. Awesome show!
  • @RambleOn.

41:31 as a nurse in the UK- we have to self report all the time. If a patients file went missing- we would have to fill out a report. If a patient arrived to the unit without ID band- we self report this. Every tiny thing is reported and if you don’t you can be sacked. These police officers have zero accountability. Even worse, they’re the ones committing the crimes! It’s outrageous

Missy is a warrior for JUSTICE for Sandra & her unborn baby! I could listen to Rob talk forever, so much knowledge and experience!! Thanks for another great show getting the word out there Mike!

Rob, always love listening to you especially about parenting. I’m the same exact way with my kids (now their kids). I also hear them telling their kids the same thing. If WE DON’T protect them, no one will. It’s our responsibility and thank you for confirming my paranoia! My kids and grandkids are all safe and haven’t been abused etc because of my overprotectiveness

26:11 I think it could be argued that someone just entering might keep their hood on until after they're in the elevator, but someone leaving the building with hood already up seems is way more suspicious, to me.

Rob is clearly an awesome dude who is open to understanding different perspectives. We need more people like that in positions of power. That said, Rob, if you read this comment; "pornography" is consensual and children cannot consent. "Child sexual assault material" or the acronym CSAM is a more suitable term.
