  • I think the training bots in the practice range should have their hp increased to 250 hp, so it can match up with the standard dps and support health bar

    Add the option to see the Patch Notes while in the Training Range. You can see them in the main menu, so I get confused when it doesnt work for the only place you can test and try out your abilities.

    I desperately want for us to see how far into the rank we are from the main menu/career profile page. Currently, we ONLY see that AFTER a ranked game has ended. This would be so useful when, for example, you haven't played in a while and you have a peak on one of the roles, but you don't want it to drop. Though, you don't remember what % you are at, so you risk deranking. I think this actually forces players to gamble either deranking or just never touching ranked on that role again in fear of deranking since they don't know their actual rank progress. I am surprised this wasn't implemented in the first place, since literally every other game has this.
  • 7:30 an often overlooked part of map veto is that it let's the devs see which maps are problematic and should be reworked which makes the game better overall.

    1. destructibles (railings, etc.) in maps just need to crumble once any bullet or ability or something touches them, and allow the bullet/ability to keep going through as normal. 2. the in-game shop should let us freeze one item to be available always, in case we dont have the coins to buy it right then (WoW does this for their Trader's Post in-game shop) 3. when i press Tab, show me who is in voice, so i dont have to go cross-referencing it through the social menu. 4. Let us use the souvenir emotes as victory poses 5. maybe this is a hot take, but id be fine getting rid of all the stats on the Tab screen. just show me my team's ult charge and who is in voice.... maybe keep the deaths counter, because i look at that for myself haha

    Pinning preferred heroes is a great idea. Anything, anything, that makes it easier to work as a team since comms are so taboo. I think it would be awesome if, at some point, the hero select screen highlighted heroes that are successful with the current comp. So after death or just while picking. Just show the options for the class and person that's picking. Breakdown comps into the general categories that we hear about; dive, poke, brawl and what our comp most resembles. Create brief descriptions for how heroes operate within the framework of that comp. We get a bunch of time pregame, and no one comes up with strategies. This could help people know what a strat IS and maybe, just maybe, foster some comms when it says something like, "xyz tries to initiate on the backline with abc" or the concept of a flex support/main support or a flex dps/main dps. Same with map based picks.

    Zarya has a voice line that goes "Drop and give me 20" One of the funniest QP games i've ever had was when I had a soldier that would stop anything that he was doing, even mid team fight, to use the pushup emote whenever I spammed the voice line lol.
  • I wish that map time of day could rotate instead of being seasonal. It'll make queing into the same map again less stale. Hell there was even a season where they completely forgot to rotate any of the map aesthetics (outside of the newly added ones.) When was the last time we've played on nighttime Oasis?

    For number 17 I ABSOLUTELY agree. My main has been Symmetra for about 5 months now, and only just now did I find out about her mechanics surrounding shields

    For accessibility options the reduced screen shake was an amazing thing they added, I would like there to be an option to turn them off completely. For accessibility options we need a way to turn down spell flashes, for example the flash you see when Ram punches. Some spell flashes are too much for some people. We should not have to choice between getting a headache from having to lower the overall brightness or getting a headache from all the spell fashes on our screens. For accessibility options channeled abilities need an option to click once to channel and click again to release. Doom's punch for example requires you to hold it down to channel and release to cast. There should be an option to click once to start the channel and click again to release. Some abilities already have this and it has been a nice change Blizz should keep working on. We should be able to customize the X that shows up on screen when our shots connect, the hit marker. 100% would love more stats like Map winrate, or winrate with a certain hero on my team or enemy team. Give us a hotkey to mute any individual speaking in coms/last person who spoke. If someone starts screaming slurs in voice, I want to hit one keybind and they are muted, not mute the entire voicechat, not have to go through 3 menu's/find the right person and mute them. Why is there not a simple limiter on voice coms, why allow voice coms to go above a certain decible? What I've learned from WoW is Party frames are so useful you end up spending a ton of time just looking at them. I understand why they would be useful, but they also might be too useful and change the game in a negative way. Do we really want to be looking at party frames every few seconds? Unlock gun models from skins. I know you guys want to make money selling your hardlight skins and what not, but consider that some skins are simply not worth buying because the gun model it too big on your screen or the scope is obnoxious.

    there's been a pretty popular suggestion for souvenirs being that they should be little items that drop when you kill somebody rather than these weird emote things. i think that's a great idea and so much better than the useless emotes (except i love the heart ones as emotes)

    The emote not being cancellable is a deliberate design decision. It’s so you can’t spam it to peek around corner in 3rd person camera and then immediately cancel it to gain vision advantage. I remember them saying this in one of Blizcons way back in the day.
  • Overwatch shouldn’t get rid of your replays every time a new patch is added. I understand why it’s added, but I had an amazing game with Cassidy 2 years ago that I really want to see but can’t because it was 2 years ago. Maybe have it so you can pin a replay so it would stay. I think that would be nice.

    They need to allow us to use all voicelines and emotes in game without having to pick 4. Fortnite allows you to favorite emotes so they appear first, but you can scroll through all of the ones you have.

    Blizzard should bring back the "Find a Group" option from Overwatch 1. It allowed for easy and quick grouping for solo players to have fun with other people.

    2 things: 1) player cards was a fun way to show weird stats in a march like environmental torb hammer elims etc etc, bring that back 2) don't protect solo queue players, in competitive specifically, from stacks. Wide groups yes but stacks no. I know #2 is likely unpopular but in a team based game like overwatch you going up in rank should also reflect your ability to learn team play aspects of the game. There are so many folks who are mechanically too good to be in the ranks where their game and team play understanding is. Most of us have played with someone like that, they get lots of stats but never in ways that help the team achieve the objective and don't understand that getting 4 elims after your team was wiped looks good for you but won't win you too many games
